In every season, there is a transition period into a new season. This period is filled with changes, restructuring, readjusting and creating a new normal. This period is hard and uncomfortable. The new season is DOPE, exciting, and filled with adventure that you can't wait to embark on. Sadly, no one ever talks about the new season transition being so tough.

These past couple of weeks I've been in transition mode, transitioning into a new and exciting season. But for some reason, I felt like I couldn't keep up. I kept missing the mark in all areas of my life and drowning with anxiety of not being good enough. I took a step back and realized, I was trying to operate in this new season with old season habits. My old normal was not going to fit in this new season and I needed to PAUSE, restructure, readjust, and create a new normal for this new season.

A few old seasons ago I was told I couldn't make it through nursing school. I took many pauses and breaks on my journey to become a nurse and now I'm starting my new season as Tobi Tajomavwo BSN, RN Director of Quality for one of the leading pediatric health care systems in the US.

Stay ENCOURAGED and take your needed Hiatus for however long you need it. I'm Rooting for you!
